how often does google update their directory based on ODP listing?

The first and foremost important thing is, Google directory is really just the open directory project with a few adjustments. Listings on DMOZ.org are arranged within their category according to simple alphabetic order.One of the major difference is that the Google Directory updates its listings only once every few months.

Thats not info that they disclose although DMOZ is the directory....I would imagine thats its updated about as frequent as DMOZ

Of course, no one can tell you the exact details on when they update it. But I guess they update it from time to time. Sure thing. they have staffs who handles these kinds of issues.

After every 1 year but it is not conform it is just the speculation.

Google Still fetch the Dmoz Directory Listing and it's update it's Directory listing 3 times in year.

while Dmoz moderator updated it's listing in one time in year.

i read Article of one of the Dmoz Editor in in Ezine. but right now i don't have any link of that Article.

I think its depend on how they update their site regularly.

You guys are funny, Google has loads of directories, but the mentioned here is the business Directory, it fairly new, it gets its content from DMOZ aswell as other sources.
