What is the score with 302 redirects?
I wanted to use them internally on my website to use the meta tags from one page, and because I have good ranking on those pages, to redirect to another page where I'm not able to add unique meta tags because the pages are in php.
I'm relatively new to seo/web design and didn't see a problem with using 302's, until I read a few posts saying that search engines punish people who use them.
Is this true, or is this more about using 302 redirects to your website, as apposed to internally?

I guess this one uses 301 redirect then wait SE's to crawl the site,

I can't see Pr 10 in my system...........
I think this site is penalized by google.

As far as I am aware it can still be done but it is a total waste of time and it will actually prevent your site from ranking and if Google find out a site has done it I expect it will be banned!

but as Google hire world's greatest mathematicians for thier algo, it's seemed not so accurate, reported that some sites who suppose to gain high pr suffer opposite instead...
how long does it take to update page rank?
