First thing you can do is add a link to your profile so it shows up on each post you make. Google crawls this forum and will follow the links from the forum to your site. The next thing to do is exchange links with sites related to you and listed in Google's index. Finally, you can submit your site to directories, write articles for article directories and basically use links to get Googlebot to your site.

Add a link? where and how?

I don't know what I but I found this somewhere. "Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Jan 11, 2007."

What does that mean?

create a links page on your site. Here is a sample of one of my links pages

http://www.my-pillow-place.com/site/439372/page/736235

request link exchanges with other sites and list the ones that respond on a page, such as the one above. If you do not know how to create text links, get an html program that can do all of the work for you.

Make sure a link to your links pages is posted on your home page as Google will crawl your home page and follow the text link to your links pages.

The information about Google's last access of your homepage is from a Google account that you must have set up where you had Google verify your site and it can give you information about it. Google analytics.

That's a big challenge on how will people see your site and how will you spread your link on the web. Alternative to organic SE traffic is social networking, also if you have budget, try Google Adword so people will see your site in google search... on sponsored part.

If you are using a Wordpress blog, there's automatic software that updates your XML sitemap and sends it to google.. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/goo ... generator/ I'm not related to the author, just use it and really like it.
