The directhit method was not that perfect...the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. If you were on top naturally more people clicked on you and you always stayed on top. It was pretty much impossible to move down people from the top positions.

I think it ould be very difficult to work out how many hits sites were getting!

Yeah, thats nice information, but I guess it's little too old couse it was posted in the year 2005
