Page Rank not stable

Well, my Pagerank jumped up for what seemed like an hour...then it went right back to where it was...I hope it is just fluctuating as Google does its thing and it will eventually go back to its higher rank.
Anyone else see this happen?

Why page rank is not stable? It is an important point please discuss about it. I think everyone should know why page rank is not stable? Specially SEO expert should know it.....

What browser are you using? PR of sites usually tangle when are browsing between tabs on Firefox.

Fluctuation is a common incident, but it should not fluctuate like what you're talking about! Anyway may we know the website please?
