Useless table and a base tag for cached pages.

Yes, this is what happens. When i go to view the cached versions of my site i when i look at the source and i see that google adds a base and a table tag ontop of all the html, even on top of the doctype declaration!!!! So as you know this produces invalid html and therefore messes the site's formating.

It is much better to use a frame. Too bad we cant do anything about it.
