That's right, but for example Yahoo indexed every file - every class, function, and Google see only some useful pages. You may see here for compare www.nternetfortune.co.uk/form.html

Seems Google purposely make rating lower. Can't understand it.

I'd understand it more if you could pay to get up the rankings cos obviously it would be in their in best interest but as far as im aware its not the case so clearly they just like doing it to drive me insane!

yes it is. when i do a link check on one of my sites g only says there are 8. when i go into google webmaster tools there is 382. don't get it. those are still less than other engines.

I think, in order to answer this question, we have to answer another question - why the number of Google's users is bigger than the number Yahoo and MSN users? I guess, that is because Google gives more accurate search results than the other search engines with much less number of outputs. Here is another question - how does the Google provide the less number of search outputs comparing to the other SEs. I guess, I should answer like this: Google reduce the number of indexed pages, comparing with Yahoo, MSN and other ones. At this point the total number of search outputs is less, comparing with Yahoo, MSN and other ones (and they probably more accurate, at least looking at Google's popularity).

I could be wrong, but that's what I think.
