when should i see a page rank on my site?

one site i have had for over 6 months and last i checked it still did not have a page rank. www.greendoorgifts.com

Page Rank is updated about every 3-4 months...the last update was at the end of January....sometimes it takes a few updates before you see a Page Rank show up...it took over 6 months for me to get a page rank from Google. New sites take time...continue to exchange links and Google will eventually grant your site a PR.

Yes viradian is right. Submit your site to other search engine and directories. You can find loads on this forum too. SO when google will update its PR it will definately rise your site PR too.

It does take time with new sites just keep getting links for your site from wherever you can.

I would like to give some advice to easycash81. You should get as many as back links to your site which are related to your website feild. That's a major factor to improve your site page rank. And also you have enough content in your site. you just have to do some interlinks within your pages. It will be easy for the crawler to go through the site. So, it will be an advantage your site to get a better ranking in search engines.

pr updates around 3-4 times a year and expecting an update around june or july but just putting up sites can't guarantee PR, it has process and takes time, also consider on-page optimization, i think it's one of the PR factors now... gudluck mate

Thanks to thusharaherath for an advice and i am now a days doing back links to my site

I have not got what u mean by interlinking a site as every page of my site is linked to every other page
please explain

agreed with husharaherath - backlinks are important but the backlinks which are related to one's site is more imporant to get page rank

I amnow waiting for the next PR update .this time i havnt got any PR as my site was very much new without any links but now have got 2000 + backlinks may be i will get PR 3
