Higher traffic means higher rank?

I have two web sites released two months ago:
http://www.unionbrothers.net and
http://www.unionandbrothers.com

Both of them are low in pr, is that means, the number of visitors was too low?

PR or PageRank has nothing to do with traffic. It is realted to the number of linksyou have thenumber of quality links youhave. The more links the higher your PR and the more links from higher PR sites the better.

Also, I would liek to add that having two sites with exact duplicate content is not good, since the duplicate content filters will trow one of them out. Instead you have teo option to take advantage of your two URL's:

1) Put a 301 redirect on one to teh other. This way the links on your two sites will be combined and give more power to one of your sites

2) Change the content of one so you have very little duplicate content.

High traffic cannot judge the high rank. The traffic and ranks are independent tracks.

Pagerank is just showing the position of how familiar your site is received on the internet, Traffic is depending upon a number of factors, how people easily visit your site.

If you desire to increase your rank, keep keyword targeted pages, a number of quality related links, and with relevant information.

PR depends on the quantity and quality backlinks you have. In order to have high PR you should linkbuild and try to get relevant links to your site.

yes backlinks make a lot of difference..do quality link buidin rather than quantity..

SERPs results for a paticular keyword is directly propotional to PR of your web and relevancy of your webpage for a particular keyword.

Obvisiously, high PR will be at the top in SERPs and thus high traffic.
If high PR web page doesn't matches with the visitor's intent,then it will increase the bounce rate of ur site.
But this doesnot means that low PR can not generate the high traffic.If your site is searched by the keywords that are highly relevant to your web page, then low PR can also generate high traffic.

No. You have to build links in order to get a PR. Traffic is the number of visitors coming to your site.

Pagerank has no relation with traffic. Pagerank depend on backlink and content.

Actually it's up to your optimization efforts and effectiveness of your works. Low or Zero PR could rank on SERP and get good traffic. There is real work to be done to see PR and SERP improvement.

Having a good site traffic doesn't equate to good ranking. SERP has something to do with the quality of the site and its backlinks. Traffic isn't really a determining factor in ranking.

Page Rank and ranking in Google are two differrnt things. If you want to get higher traffic rank that means higher rank according to Alexa. PR is only concerned with backlinks. The more backlinks you have the more PR you own
