Hi guys! I'm new at SEO and someone recommended me that I should start with social bookmarking, but is it really effective? How long until I can see its effect on my webpage and what social bookmarking sites do you recommend? I don't know if this is the right section but I'm just aiming to rank it in google.

I am also recommended social Bookmarking for SEO. There are too many advantages of social Bookmarking.
1. It is easy to develop links through it.
2. Most of sites are Do follow. (It is also Consider as Back link)
3. It's also effective for your serp.

Social bookmarking can get your site noticed, but you should combine it with a bit of link building through forum posting and blog commenting.

Social Bookmarking is good for traffic generation but It does not help in link building process..I have tried it but I did not got the single link from the sites..
