I have seen that google caffeine is giving importance to keyword based domain names...if you have your keyword in domain name, you have better to chances to rank well in search engines

It might be a plus factor having your keyword on you domain name but it will not guarantee to get rank automatically, still the quality of contents and backlinks that makes a site rank well.
