Why is it that google is strict of recognizing backlinks than yahoo and bing? What is their criteria?

Yeah! Well that's their algo. So all we need to do is keep on building links in a right process.

i thnk it all comes to quality links.

Yes, if you need more backlink for google you need to get quality backlinks from the source which has fresh unique content.

well, its depend on your quality work because Google alway check your all work activity..so when you do link exchange then remember that related theme and high PR link page..

Google is strict because there are so many crap sites and bad neighbors, and Google even don't give much weight on backlinks that is not related to the site...

Link quality and value is preferred more by google.
