There's a "create page for business or artists" feature on Facebook, register one for your site, create important posts about your site and gather followers or "likers".

Facebook is very important for branding your website. Remember there are more than 500 million user in FB. So if can interact efficiently with them you can increase your website's traffic and who kniows you might find business. Create your own page in facebook and post something interesting and worth reading matter. Don't always promote. The more the the time you spend on it the better the fruit you will get.

Probably, best way to do SEO on facebook is to create group and gather large fanbase.
