Basically, Google +1 is a user-search based pointing system wherein you will mark the +1 vote on the websites that the user has searched online using keyword/s. Why it is helpful for the seos? mainly, it will help you to get your site listed on the web results based on the keywords that you and your friends used.

Aside from that, you're site is gaining popularity once everyone marked your site and share it with their community/friends through the use of their Google profile. Its more like a social based results; but as to SEOs, its really helpful because we are gaining reputation without asking them to linked out.

If you like the website you can click it. The count will increase but now Google stop.

Google search result will now have a +1 icon next to it. If you find the search result useful or just enjoy the linked site, you hit the +1 icon. Google says by +1-ing a result you're giving it a recommendation, a stamp of approval. More +1's on a result means the site is more interesting.

basically, if you are familiar to tweeter and facebooks if you click "like or tweet" it is same as +1. the list of your friends might be alert because your share it to them.

This seems to be very similar to the Facebook Like feature except the only difference is that when you +1 a blog article or web page it will help promote that website or page to your contacts via Google services.

Google+1 is just like the facebook 'Like' button. It gives recommendation to others that are in your gmail account.

Basically, its an amalgamation of several services we already use.it is a new social networking site by Google.The service combines Google’s Profiles and Buzz features while adding new ones such as “Circles,” “Hangouts,” and many others. It was initially opened to selected known people in the tech field but the ability to send out a few invites, perhaps as a social media marketing service strategy, made the demand for getting in Google+ high.

Are you familiar to FB "like" button it is same as google +1. Once you click the +1. automatically all your goggle contracts will know which sites, blog or article you follow or you like.
