Google | how to tell index age

I understand that domain name age plays an important part in how Google ranks your site, the older the better, but does Google count from when your site was indexed with them or when the domain was purchased?

Probably when your site was indexed...before that, Google didn't know you existed...

it really depends on your optimization... if you not done it well, whether it is an old site,, it can't gain PR...

the age of the domain is one of the factors that determines how much of an authority a site is, so it'll have an impact in rankings, it doesn't have anything to do with PageRank

Look for Alexa indexing it around the date of google indexing
