It depends on the site you get your PR, as well as the quality/importance of your site content..

These pages are also found to have higher page ranking and having a backlink from such a higher ranked page is all the better to you! Another major source of good high PR backlinks are the news announcements. If only you could make the news, you will get all the advertisement you want for your site.

Not just backlink, also the content of your site and your behavior of giving out backlink to other site will somehow affects your PR and ranking.

Ok, at some point at school we're going to have a day where we dress up as a celebrity. My friend and I want to do something together. We were thinking about doing The Veronicas but she is really tan and her hair is almost light brown, so unless there's a way to make her magically pale- it cant happen. Yes Back link is the key factor for PR, But consider quality too, instead of getting hundred links, 10 high PR(4+) links will help to boost the PR
