I have a couple of sites, all I use sitemap to submit to google, but it doesn't seem to take any notice.
Now getting something initially listed is fine, but when it comes to updating site info its crap.
When I first submitted my sites, I was using link names like soft1.php, soft2.php etc, for ease of maintaining my end but found out quickly that google hates these sorts of pages so I renamed them with long names, since then google hasn't done anything with the site as far as listing is concerned.
If anyone gets a sec, can you look at the following three sites, and tell me what im doing wrong.

Your sites have to be optimized. I don't see any optimization effort within those sites. Just contact with an optimization company and get some advice.

Ill be honest, this is just a hobby at the moment, with a view to turning it into more if it becomes successful. Theres no learning in just passing it to a SEO company.thusharaherath wrote:Your sites have to be optimized. I don't see any optimization effort within those sites. I know I need to build quality links, but with just on page factors, what else in broad terms am I doing wrong?
Many Thanks
Mark

Optimise your sites, and build back links. Tis the only way. Search google for site optimisation articles and tips.
One place to start building links is with directory sites - find a huge list at Directory Critic.
