Buy as many as you can and link to your site
Buy links on old domains that list in yahoo.
Try piggy backing of blogs like blog spot spaces.msn.com and other powerful sites a page of a powerful university site will get listed fast

It cost 300 dollars to submit to the Yahoo directory, which is different than submitting to Yahoo search...
The directory costs 300 dollars and is non refundable...also, they may not put your site in and you just lost 300 bucks.
