I briefly looked at your horse racing site and noticed a few things.
1. Target each web page for 1 keyword term. Treat each page as its own website. Example: "horse racing results".
2. Do better keyword research. Overture or Submit Express has a good keyword tool.
3. The text on your inbound links does not have any of your keywords in the anchor text (very important)
4. get more links with the correct anchor text.
Good Luck!

All your domain names are keywords rich so there are great chances of topping at yahoo, also backlinks from relevant sites will help you to get at top in Google ….

Optimizing 2 keywords per page should be your goal .this way like if you have 20 odd pages and u r optimizing 40 keywords. getting traffic from 40 odd keywords is great

As the original question was almost a month ago, I'd like to hi-jack it a bit, as I'm in the same boat.
Im fairly new to this game and have been spending the last 6 months trying to get my rankings up here are some of my sites any advice would be appreciated. Right now, I've got a 2/10 ranking. Also, the site has some limitations to coding, as it is essentially a template-based site.
As I'm new here, you'll have to copy/paste the site;

Thank you!

1. Add unique content
2. Optimize
3. Submit to directories
4.make more backlinks

1) Looks like I'm severely limited to unique content, as this is a template-based site, right?
2) Optimize? I'll have to learn more about that, I guess.
3) I've only submitted to a few directories so far. A list of those must be around here somewhere, right?
4) backlinks? I'll have to learn more on those as well.
This really isn't my forte, but as my media ads refer to our site, I definately want to do all I can to make it look good and rank well. I may have gotten off on the wrong foot by utilizing a template-based company for the site. The payback period was a lot shorter that way, and no headaches for me.
Other help is appreciated as well.
Thanks easycash81

If your site is new and want your site in the search engine. Get started by optimizing your site (add meta tags title, description, and your target keywords). Update your content and with fresh idea. Get more backlinks (submit it to search engines, directories, forums, blogging and a lot more).
There is a lot of ways to get index in the search engine.
