Ranking No.1 in MSN in Just 7 days

I agree to that. I did it too. My site ranks no.1 with this keyword " free pc tips" for more than 6 months now. And finally it's now no.2 in Yahoo with this keyword.

"I decided to change all my main keyword and try to use a more competitive one. I tried to use "Computer Troubleshooting"2700 seaches made last month according to Overture. Presently my site is no.2 in MSN with this keyword with more than 3 million competing site, but nowhere to be found in Yahoo and Google.

I also try to use"Computer Repair"187,000 searches made. 66,000 competing sites in Google. But it seems it's difficult to beat the giants here.
My big problem so far I guess is to have a link with a higher page rank.
I tried to have a link exchange to some of the top 10 in Google but I was rejected.

I also made a big mistake by optimizing a not competitive keyword.
Try to type this in Google "free pc troubleshooting tips".

I need some comments from some seo expert here."

Rankings on the search engines depend on how competitve your keyword may be. If a lot of sites are competing with the keyword, then it takes time before you get on top.

Yea, sorry i alawys miss to put the word "might" on my opinions. I mean that might be just one of the reasons why you ranked first. Or you got the technique MSN wants. Like we always say, search engine rankings depend on too many factors. But vistadivine, goodluck. I hope you maintain your high search engine rankings.

You will always move around in MSN from top position to lower ones, but it doesnt really matter, it doesnt bring that much traffic!

Yeah, my site is very saturated in MSN. I am getting some traffic from them but I am working on google more because it is the big one! But i never cancel any search engine out!

You should start one with PHPBB. It is really good and this forum is run off of it. Its nice and pretty easy to setup!

I did it pretty easily and i dont have much programming knowledge. Do you know any PHP? PHPBB is a great forum creator and there are some places that will host it for you unless you want to host if off your site, which is preferred. Good luck!

You can figure out PHP very easily, i didnt know any of it when I started, but I figured it out within a day or so. Its a pretty easy language!

I learned it from looking at sites written in php and other forums and I picked up the basic relatively early!

My site http://performancenutrition.com has always ranked well in MSN and http://performancenutrition.com has ranked well in Google but I have not fared as well in Yahoo. I think Yahoo cares less about links and more about content.

I wonder if searchers in MSN are influenced by any relation to localization, meaning that you might get a higher position if the keyword is more competitive in your own area, like for me in Denmark with an English keyword.
Any knowledge about that?

i have focused on Google only; and having all my sales from it over last couple of years. Here my question is that - How much of traffic can i get more if my site will come in the top 5 in MSN search result.

I want to know - If there is any other way to increase my online sales rate.

Currently i am listed under Google.com's first 5 result and doing link building & article submissions.
