I know Google is most suitable and best search engine nut i want to know the name of search engines before Google ???

Yahoo,Ask Jeeves (now Ask.com),Web Crawler,Hot Bot are some of the search engines which were used before Google. Though Google is at rank 1 now amongst all, so all these are not used so frequently now.
