Yahoo directory value?

I was wondering how long it will take to get our website:

listed on yahoo. Are there anyways to speed up the process. Is it worth paying for inclusion in the yahoo directory?

It is very important to be listed in the Yahoo directory :
1. It gives you a reciprocal page with a high PR
2. If you noticed almost all sites that are listed in the Yahoo directory have a high PR (I checked several of them, they have PR5 but they have not many backlinks)
3. Google likes this directory
4. You will have good Yahoo rankins

So there are many advantages to be listed there.

I would say, if you have it, go for it because it can only help you. The only question I have is how many of the sites that are submitted actually get included? I think the money is non refundable so what happens then?

Yeah thats the big issue with it. Even with the 1 month time to fix your site, if you dont get it done then you site still wont make the cut and you just lost $300. Be selective about your site when it comes to Yahoo!
