Do someone know some good free scripts for creating an online directory.

There are many free directory scripts around, although I have resently tried the new phpLynx script and found it offers lots of features for a free script. There is good support offered if you signup at the forum and become a member.

Like I said there are others but I found this one easy to install, flexable and runs virtually bug free.

Phpld free script is integrate with paypal, while eSyndiCat free version has no payment option.

eSyndiCat has many option like user and admin rating, alexa rating, thumbnail preview and detail pages etc..

Your right about phpld is the best till NOW, Now that the PhpLynx Directory Script has been finally released and (being a former phpld owner) I can say through experience that the PhpLynx script is a superior Directory Script. http://www.cantufind.com/forum/
