Searching the forums would have been the best place to start in order to find answers to your question about DMOZ and submission into their directory. It has been covered here many times over here.

You will see that you are not the only person experiencing the same issue with getting a site included into DMOZ. This has been an ongoing issue recently and the advice most often given is to submit ONCE (and only once) and then move on to other promotion efforts that yield quicker results and link weight to your site.
