I know that you don't have time, but I think it's well worth it to do it yourself manually. Often many of the directories will pull your META info to make your listing on their site which may not be how you want to present your site in that directory. I mean if you just want a link, great. If you actually want a listing that someone actually might click on, you should submit it manually and edit the listing to be appropriate to that directory. Also, you may not want to be in a group where 200 companies are listed when you might want to be in another group where only 1 or 2 are listed where you might get better exposure.

We've decided it's better to do it yourself. People paid to post, quite naturally, go for quantity not quality. At least if you do it yourself, you know it's been done properly.

I've heard that if you were going to pick one paid directory to submit to, it should be the Yahoo directory. It is trusted by Google very much and would give a good boost to the relevancy of your site in Google's eyes.

When I make a little more money on my site, I'm going to be submitting to it.
