i posted my website for years, in many kind of Directories website.
to be honest, it don't work too well, and the traffic if no more than a few in month..

i recommended you to focus your effort in spreading your link's in other kind of website.

Yeah, I partly agree with you. Directories don't bring traffic at all. But they are very important for Google pagerank. If your site has "n" no. of links from high PR directory sites, then there are higher chances of ranking higher in Google search results.
