Backlink Checks
Hi there,
If someone is linking to my site, how long does it take till I can track the backlink with tools like backlinkchecker?
I am using this tool: http://www.online-utility.org/webmaster ... iction.jsp
Is it any good? Are there better ones?
I just wonder because there is a new site linking to me since some hours and it doesn't show up when I try this tool. Why?
Thanks, Silver

But search engines shows only short note about site and url. And hundreds of results can point same website with subpage changed only.vistadivine wrote:The best thing to check BLs is to check on the search engines because search engines are the ones who index these links.
Akash
So it would be nice to have BLs sorted hierarchically, only unique URLs with number of subpages linking, with some seo statistics for each BL.
There are several tools that can do that. None is perfect but can be useful.

back link checking tools
That's what he is asking you guys. Which web site he can go and check how many back links he got for his URL.
Most people, however, use Link:domain.com on all search engines
MSN and Yahoo give more details than Google.
But there are other SEO sites who have tools to check backlinks for your URL but I am not very familiar.
Let other SEOs suggest which is the best of all.

"Link:yourdomain.com " will display only back links from high PR pages. If you want to see all backlinks which is counted by Google, then you have to use Google webmasters tool. There are many tools to check backlins but use search engine to check backlinks
