Meta tags are the most important tags of our sites which tell the search engines about our targeted keyword , business , Country , Location , Language , author etc . we generally use meta tags to put our anchor text and keywords for crawlers of search engine . we can say meta tags as small introduction ot our websites being presented when a user is going through the search engine for the same

I have to disagree. All Metadata are important in On Page Optimization. Leave one and you cannot guarantee good listings.

it can help your website to be crawl, so that on SERP Ranking your website can have a higher ranking, because, it was optimized better...

Google does support several other meta tags. It's just not correct when so called experts write that Google ignores meta tags. That's because many people use information written by others in forums and think that it is genuine information. So by writing that use of meta tags keyword is not required people presume that all meta tags are being ignored, that meta tags are dead.
