Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors which left the site from landing page. A high bounce rate means that sites landing page is not relevant to visitor. We can minimize bounce rate by making landing pages to each relevant keyword .

Google bounce rate is basically the number of visitors that land on your site yet leaves without clicking through any of your links or menu. Taking note of this metric is quite essential because this will tell you if your site is able to sustain the attention of your visitor or not. If you have a high bounce rate, this tells you that your site does not have anything of value for your visitors. This could tell you that what you think your target market wants and what they really want are not on the same level. If you want to gauge your site's quality, then one of the metrics to look at is your bounce rate.

In knowing the Google bounce rate of particular pages on your site, you can put the pieces together as to why your site’s conversions rates may be lower than you wish. If you have specific outlier pages on your site that are under-performing, they may be the first place you focus on to improve the overall site and capitalize on an opportunity for growth. Here’s how I read a bounce rate of 60% for a particular page: 6 of every 10 visitors felt that the page did not live up to whatever expectation was set before the person visited that page.

You are right. Bounce Rate should be within the control. More bounce rate is not good for the website. Thanks for sharing.

Hi folks,
Thank you for sharing your opinions and ideas

. In my opinion, if you only have a bounce rate of 1.08% that means that for every 100 people that visited your site just over 1 of them (1.08) didn't look at any other pages on your site in that visit, the other 99 looked at at least 2 pages in a visit.
I have worked with websites for over 15 years now and know many website owners that would love to get a 1.08% bounce rate - my person site for example gets about a 50% bounce rate so half the people that visit the site only look at one page. Having said that many of my visitors land on information pages and then leave.
Thanks and regards,

Not really, Bounce rate is the rate or number of visitors that open a page then immediately leaving/bouncing off to another page that is not part of the site.

Google bounce rate helps your site to determine the number of users and visitors that leaves your pages and through this calculation, it will show that your page in the site is not worth it due to poor content.
