Adsense pays you by what they call your CPM, which is your Cost Per Mille. In other words, your CPM is how much Adsense will pay you per 1,000 impressions. ... As you can see, Adsense doesn't pay very much per impressions. Therefore, to generate more income, you'll need to try and improve your Click Through Rate (CTR).
