Google Adwords -CPC Fraud Victim

Hi

We are new to the forum.

We wish to share our recent Google Adwords and comms with you all.

Click fraud has been causing us a headache, costing £££, after contacting Google many times with proof they refuse / refute our claims, this led to us investing the time and money to prove our point, as we beleive that Adwords could be a decent way of getting your web in front of potential clients.

After sending an depth report, proving that we had suffered clisk fraud we have today received a refund!, i beleive this is a first, also may i confirm that multiple clicks can and do get through the mighty Google system, we have proof, and they accepted.

I beleive that more people should stand up to Google, who has long since lost its 'ethic' it claimed it had, and is making billions of dollars from such poor services and ignorance of there customers.

we wish to hear from others with similar problems and to offer advice, please note we are not touting for business, in fact our business model has nothing to with SEO web design or similar.

Since my site got dropped down in PR, I lost my spot in the top 10. Now here is the funny part. So i started using Google Adwords and i noticed that i had about 1000 clicks a day and only one register. Now, i compared that to my 1000 clicks a day on the Overture network (yahoo) and i got 80 new registers a day. Same keyword and same site. Now, is this click fraud? Seems to me it is. So i emailed google got some stupid autoreply. Do they even care about it? I bet they don't. ANyone have the same issue?

Google has the right to keep their visitors private... You will need a subpoena to get the other information.

Yes you can get $$$ back from google provided you give them enough proof against the click fraud.

May I ask, what type of click fraud did you fight for?

What kind of click fraud? The only kind there is, the bad kind that you pay for! I started getting 100s of clicks and when I searched thru the google analytics, 98 % were staying on my site less than 1 second!

extremely high bounce rate is not due to Google, its due to poorly designed and unoptimized landing pages. Im not sure why you would blame google for a 1 second visitor, you should blame yourself for that mistake. I would not really consider this click fraud.

I work at an agency myself, and guarantee top position is not a hard thing to do. The hard thing to do is optimize your campaign according to your business goals and meeting your objectives and ROI. If you are paying a flat fee for bid management, then hand over your account I will do it for half the price...

A good agency will create website and campaign strategies, analyze your traffic, and make educated decisions on how to increase volume, reduce costs, and increase ROI. Is your flat fee company doing all this?

Lastly I do not have a fixed fee month price, I make no claim to unlimited clicks, I make no contacts and you cant cancel anything at any time because I'm offering nothing but free advice...

Even Google agreed that it was CLICK FRAUD, They refunded my Money!

All that hocus Pocus about Maximizing my site, Hidden key words, Hidden meta tags, etc is about as good as a screen door in a submarine.

All kind of companies claimed they did that for me, and I was still bumped way down the page 90% of the time. The company I am with now, for a flat fee, very way below what I was paying Google, Yahoo, Super pages.com Yellow Pages.com combined. I am at the top of Google & Yahoo, 24-7 and I have not dropped below top of the page since I started.
Just type in "Fort. Myers Photographer" and tell me who you get.
You said you would do it for HALF. Lets see it.

In PPC advertising click fraud is a major issue, which not only drain advertiser's budgets but also PPC search engines' repute. Though search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. have been taking strong steps against fradulent clicks, but the menace is still at large.
So to clean it up we should all i.e advertisers, publishers and PPC search engines have to unite and fight.

"Ideal Positions" is a low-tech wonder. I've worked here for a couple months and i don't know how we manage to talk people into this stuff. a while ago one of our employees comitted click fraud. Some guy on authorityfigure.com tore her a new ass and posted our contact info on his blog as the click cost him $(our owner got on her knees to beg him to keep the situation to himself, he has since removed all of our company info from his post.). The bosses told us in the past never to click on the sponsored positions, but alot of people here click on positions of people who were jerks on the phone. I do, the girl next to me does, so does the dude behind me. "Ideal Positions" is not the answer, they are barely hanging on. Ha-I'm typing this at my desk.
