CPC or CPM

Post by cutebokchoi »

CPC is better since there can be more control over it. And normally clicks are more relevant.

People that still sell CPM is because nobody will click in your add... not a good deal. Anyway, I think that CPM is just good for branding purposes, but otherwise is not cost effective, and the results can´t be measured easily

Each of them can be better than other, it depends on how the ads are fixed.

Thanks for sharing this post with us.CPM and CPC both are different cocept all together..For CPC first calculate CTR of your website/Category pages since rate of cost per click is almost 2-3 times higher then CPM and it will pay you on number of clicks generated. To calculate CTR, one can use various click tracker online tools or can track via inhouse programme.

I intend to open a free service soon, and all offices will be based on a CPC rather than CPM for that reason. If you have targeted adds that there is no limit on the income of the CPC. CPM, your most likely set at $ 1 or less.

Both are good enough but it depends on the traffic to u r site and the ad being displayed on different networks in case of text ad or display add

CPM (Cost per 1,000), CPC (Cost per Click) and CPA (Cost per Action) are methods of calculating the charge for pages (advertisements) being served. CPM is a holdover from traditional media advertising, and does not take advantage of the Hypertext nature of the medium. It charges purely on the number of times the advertisement is served.

It really depends on the site. But generally, I think CPC is the better option, especially if you intend to build traffic from search engines.
