Google Adwords

Post by mythaispot »

Now this is interesting. I used google adwords 2 years ago for my site. I paid .05 cents a click for a few of the keywords. I went back to use those keywords again and guess what? Google now wants 15 dollars per click. Now these are not mainstream keywords. How can they do that? Is it because there are more advertisers and that is driving up the minimum click price or is it because they suck? hehe.

I just can't compete with that. This makes it virtually impossible to advertise now. Look what this does for new business owners who want to use existing keywords. They wont be able to afford it!

I think the main reason is there are more advertisers and that is driving up the minimum click price. This is a normal situation if you think like an economist. When the demand is too high the price for that product also increase a lot.

Maybe the keywords competition will increase now, it impacts your Google Adwords CPC. So you can optimize your landing page, ad relevant with your keywords or service.

Hi.

I would say that it is due to the reason that the Keywords you were using earlier were not so much costly because they were not searched more and not competitive, that was 2 years back. But now the Keywords may be searched more and had a good value so its PPC price is also increased.

The best way is that if you still have good searches for your business on your keywords than you can go for Off-Page SEO.

That's how google upgrades, This is only because every business in the market is adapting digital marketing and the competition has increased a lot past 2 years, working in a Digital Marketing Agency in Los Angeles I know how we have to adjust our cost with the clients as they have got no knowledge about how google works. So, This is the harsh reality of Google ads.
