Difference between narrative and descriptive essays
Another important and common type of essay writing is the narrative essay. Most of the students confuse descriptive essays with a narrative essay. However, the two are different from each other. The greatest difference between the two is that the narrative essay is written in the first person context and the person has to write about his views and thinking in a particular scenario. While in the case of a descriptive essay, the author has to provide a detailed description of the incident. Another important point that the students need to focus on is that they have to provide the details about action in the narrative essays.

Re: Difference between narrative and descriptive essays
At some point, I stopped blaming motivation and started looking at structure.
That’s where things shifted again.
I remember the first time I actually followed something resembling a guide to creating a thesis statement. It felt unnatural at first. Too deliberate. But then something clicked. A clear thesis doesn’t limit your writing. It gives it edges. Without it, everything spills.
And that’s when topic selection started to feel less random.
