I would like to ask several questions about advertising my guinea pig website.

How can I advertise it so it could be indixed in the best search engines like yahoo or google?

What ways or methods can I use?

I have a lot of reliable information in my forum and I want new members or new piggy begginers to read it, also it is fun to join a pet forum.

Can you give me any advice? I really need it!!!!

You must to select first what's you targeted keywords. My advise is, start with a less competitive keyword. Do the on-page optimization. Find the best niched to target. Promote your site, do link building (off-page optimization).

I recommend starting off at Google. Then go to the blank search area and type in "Free Website Promotion". It will show all the free search engines. Click on the one that seems best. Then fill out the information in the box. After doing this step simply press "Submit". Just keep looking for different sites. Many sites have links to different search engines. Keep that in mind. Remember that family helps promote business also. Use Myspace or your Blog page to post a tag.

Your best bet, imo, is to find other similar sites and forums and get linked to them from there, especially to particular posts on your site. For example is you wrote an article about a particular breed having 20 other forums/posts about that breed linking to your post about that breed gives your post a lot of weight with Google.

Create a blog, create a sitemap, then ping your content and finally get 1 or 2 websites with at least Pr of 2 linking back to your site.

Have more animal sections for animal-friendly visitors to choose and talk about.
