What is a better idea, hire a nurse to look after my mum(she had a complicated operation), or to put her in a hospital or other place to recover?

If there is no need to stay at the hospital, then, of course, it's better to hire a nurse. I think that recovering at home is better because the atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. There is one excellent service I used once -
