Using the WordPress platform as a website is pretty straightforward. Everything can be configured thru a control panel.

A big plus is that it has a lot of SEO plugins.

I don't know if you've had a look at Drupal, but when building slightly more complex websites we've had the greatest succes there. The learning curve is extensive but once your there the power it has is unsurpassed.

I like Wp its easy to update and amazing. Aslo has greats SEO Plug in
