Reasons Why Your Site Might Have Been Deindexed From Google.
If you no longer find your site in the Google SERPs and you've searched for it using this query "site:yourdomain.com" and you still cant find it, then it is possible that any of the listed factors might have been the cause of your site's deindexing.
1) Maybe its a Google ban!
2) Perhaps its just another Robots.txt misuse.
3) Perhaps some hackers hijacked your proxy within Google's results.(happens rarely though)
4) No or not enough backlinks pointing to your site.
5) Maybe some knucklehead reported your site to Google for 'scraping contents" .
Know af any other possible reason?
Add it .

I'm afraid some SEO men will use it to kill the competitors. It's dangerous.lexdino wrote: 5) Maybe some knucklehead reported your site to Google for 'scraping contents" .

The previous posts seem to be valid, but there are so many factors that need to be considered for sites to be deindexed. That can happen when you change all the content of your site or its template, or when you're penalized by Google for overdoing SEO.

Couple of most common causes of penalty are:
- Duplicate contents and title of pages.
- Backlinks from bad/penalized neighbors.
