I would say that it is better to have a keyword in your domain name than not. But, the keywords that you are listed for are based on the optimization of the individual pages. There is a lot of info on these boards about optimization of individual pages for certain keywords.

absolutely...in fact...once you've selected your domain name...there's really nothing you can do to enhance it. So really, just concentrate on links and content as you said.

I suspect the question was about the length of time you actually register a domain for.

There has been alot of buzz about this in recent times, and the general concensus is that yes, registering your domain for a longer period of time will have an effect on your ranking to some degree. I dont think it will have a major effect, more of just yet another factor to ba taken into account.

I have no proof of this though, and am only going by what i have been told, and not my own experiences.
