Google had to develop something to overcome the popularity of Twitter and Facebook. But I don't see any super interesting or exciting features in Buzz.

yes i use Google Buzz, its similar to Twitter. Google Buzz have no word limit for posting so we promote our whole article and blog on Buzz

Google Buzz is most logical step for quick indexing of new content. I’ll test that but others have already written that Google will index links you post on Buzz. So to get a new page indexed post it on Buzz or better include a buzz button.

I don`t like twitter too much...but I kinda like Buzz...it is very easy to use, just one click from verifying my mail box

Google Buzz is the newest push into the social media, integrating into one..fb and twit..It will be annoying to see later on that it will be pre-occupied by mostly ads...70:30 ratio ads:content....

How can our site get crawl in google buzz? I know its in private viewing only.

Google buzz seemed not a good help when it comes to crawling or indexing of site, it's more on social sharing your posts to your network of friends.

I think Google Buzz is a lot of more help in SEO than Twitter and Facebook. Traffic wise, I don't know. But if Google Buzz had reached the same popularity as those Twitter and Facebook when it comes to sharing and socializing, then it may also help traffic-wise.

Anyway, the reason why I say that Google Buzz is better than the two, is because it offers do-follow anchor links. You just have to activate your Google Profile and the Buzz that you created in your Gmail will automatically be incorporated in your public Google profile. In addition, Google profiles can be indexed by Google itself, and the robots.txt file of Google allows all search engine bots to index your profile page. Here is the line that says so if you access http://www.google.com/robots.txt :

It has been cached by Google and Yahoo, but not yet on Bing. Just don't make yourself be banned by Google...
