try to post quality links on quality websites.... when we say quality it must be search engine friendly, websites that can crawl and index links by search engines

@madden i think buying links is not that good, and it's not advisable just to buy and buy links you might get spam...

Google only consider quality backlink never consider shaming type link. So try your best to get quality backlink and enjoy Google backlinks.

I guess you should leave the information about your site or blog in other (but good) resources and leave in these posts the link to your site. It will help improving your position. Also you should do all other seo things like forum posting and blog commenting.

Look for sites related to your site on Google search, there's a big chance to get the backlinks counted by Google since they are already on Google SERP..

Google only gives link juice to dofollow links. So try to get do follow links from bookmarking sites, forums, blogs as much as you can.
