If you have a front page with a PR 0, then getting PR 5 isn't going to happen anytime soon, especially if your site is brand new. You cannot simply link from PR 3, 4, 5 or 6 pages, either. You have to start with a foundation. Link building is like building a house; you don't build the attic first. You have to start with a whole bunch of PR 0's, and work your way up. This is just partly why whitehat SEO takes such a long time.
