Cause other websites are also doing SEO and if it's better than yours then their website will rank higher pushing yours down.

Because some people using copy content of the website so that is reason google update their index for stopping these type activity time to time.

Few years back google ranking is stable. Now google introduced panda updates. This will roll our every month. It will affect the keyword ranking.. Also google pushing updates on regularly.
