PR and SERP

PR is predicted by the quality of the site and the number of back links in it. It doesnt mean that a site having good page rank will be in the top of search engines. A site rank with page rank 0 can be even on the number 1 position. But a site must have a good page rank. Quality content,link building,and following google guidelines are necessary to maintain page rank.

I don't think we should compare PR with SERPs because they are perfectly related to each other, if your Pr is good you may have less SERPs and PR weak and SERPS can be good because it PR is depend on good back links and niche content but the SERPs can be achieved by using less competitive or unique keywords and links to particular search.
