PR Difference

PR Difference

I came across one WebSite Ranked #1 for query "dmannose" on Google UK.
PR of the page in SERP results is 3
While
PR of the Index Page(index.php) is 2

Both the pages are same content

Why they have PR difference?
Is anything wrong with thjis WebSite?

most likely due to more or better quality links going to the higher PR page.

The first site must be getting good/quality links than the second site, thats why they don't have the same PR..

One website won't get every pages the same PR. PR is page based, not the site based.

I am guessing higher pr page = more links or better links. Also it does not seem to be a big difference between PR 2 or PR 3. Maybe PR 3 page has like a PR 5 link to it, that might do it.

If you are really really curious just search the backlinks for each link and compare links

Hi,

According to me your problems are completely due to your backlinks format.

You have getting backlinks with your http:// www. domain .com if you will collect backlinks also with domain.com/index.php then your index.php would have also same PR.

I guess only, i am not sure ........ may be i am wrong.

May be you are getting result from the different data center.

That's kinda odd. Take note that Google has different data centers. That could be the reason for that.

THis is normal... the site PR is based on the URL...if check the BL for both URL u can see the diff. Thats why while promoting the site always keep unique URL
