Google Analytics won't help on PR. It helps us on tracking our site's performance, where the traffics come from, and which of our keywords performs well in search engines.

It is is just mostly for traffic information of your site, the one that might help your site is the Google Webmaster Tool, check that one:

It is most effective tool which you can use to know your website statistics. It will tell you everything about website like traffic, most traffic time etc. I don't think that there are many webmasters who do not use G Analytic.

This tool is very useful for SEO. GAnalitics gives much information:
Keyword data: Which keywords are driving the most traffic to your site?
Keyword value: Which keywords account for the most engagement in your site? Which keywords drive the most conversions?
Page context: Which pages receive the most search traffic? What keywords are associated with those pages?

I use GA for monitoring web traffic from different countries / cities and the keywords used for going to the landing page(s).

You can also generate custom reports that can be scheduled to be sent to your email address daily, weekly, or monthly.

Well Google Analytics help webmasters to track them Traffic, and tell them that which query peoples Are using to Search when they land on your site, and which search engine they are using , and from which site they are coming to your site , So its very useful tool if you want to know all every things about your Visitors

And also Google Analytics give you the whole detail on your daily traffic, what medium or source the traffic came from and keep track on the places where it viewed most.

It's great for seeing where traffic goes on your site, how they come in, who referred them and if set up properly can help you test changes to your website to increase a visitors stay and lead them where you want them to go.

It can help track your traffic and the bounce rate of the traffic. Lets say your advertising on 2 sites. The traffic from one site has a 50% bounce rate, traffic from the other site has a 20% bounce rate.

With that information you know where you are going to get the best return for your advertising dollar.
