SEO Gurus Niel Patel & Moz have been talking about the importance of User experience, in Google's ranking algorithm.

Recently, we had hired an SEO consultant to boost the PageRank of the website of one of our medical consulting partner. As per the SEO consultant, Google has evolved to place a huge emphasis on User Experience. Hence, the consultant recommended us to work on a few important parameters.

Following 3 parameters send a clear signal to Google, about the user experience -

1) Click through Rate (CTR)
2) Bounce Rate
3) Session Time

1) CTR - Even though you might have great content on your page with lots of backlinks but if a competitor has strong CTR, Google might consider ranking the competitor higher than your page.

2) Bounce Rate & Session Time - Even if you have built 100s of backlinks on the page and the page has good ranking but if the page has a very high bounce rate, Google will slowly move your page to a lower ranking.

With every passing day, Google is trying to improve itself to satisfy the intent of its customers (i.e searchers). So I believe SEO is all about thinking from a User's perspective.

So ensure these three parameters are taken care on a higher priority, if you wish to rank in the top 3 of search results.

I prefer do follow because Google consider do follow links as external links to our website as considered and countable links.
