Google PageRank vs. Keyword Position

I posted a question a week or so ago about my Pagerank dropping to 0 on every page of my site, not knowing why this happened. It still hasn't come back yet.

Oddly enough, since this happened, my main keywords are now on Google's first page...my traffic is rising because of this. Sales are also going well, despite the fact that people have just spent a lot of money on the holidays.

More evidence that PageRank has nothing to do with your keyword positions....I'll take more traffic and sales over a meaningless high PR any day.

I honestly think my PR loss is due to a glitch and it will be corrected with the next PR update...my link trading has been honest and slow. And, I've been reluctant to trade links with any sites other than those related to my site.

i can see that some of low page rank pages but still have good position in search engine result pages.
pr was the heart of google search engine but nowadays it is not but anyhow, with higher page rank you have, higher position possibility in serp in a specific keywords where you and your competitors are struggling for.

I think the only people are happy with PR is the link seller and buyer.

forget about PR! focus on getting on top of your targeted keywords...

you must focus more on your SERP ranking since it's the basis of your success in doing SEO

Everyone knew criteria for increasing PR (not anymore, since it's not important)
Does anyone know the exact criteria for increasing SERP?

Just create fresh quality content for your site and build more qaulity links and you'll have your site on SERP with your target keyword.

Just follow the search engines algorithms and guideline on increasing SERP like submitting your link to a related site, optimized it using the competitive and targeted keywords and create unique content for your site.

Hey dude, No one know search engine algorithms we are just following the guidelines of search engine. And If know the algo I will not share it with you.
