White technics are always preferable, because all major search engines already know all those tricks that many webmasters use to do with their websites. I also went through this and know for sure it's better to build websites friendly to visitors and search engines than to trick them.

Specifically, I prefer content based link building like article submission, press release submission, social bookmarking, link exchange, etc.

If by "best result on internet world" you mean higher placement in searches, the best tactic would be to write quality and optimized content in your site's pages.

If by "best result on internet world" you mean higher PR, the best tactic would be to get quality backlinks - those links should be from relevant and high PR pages.

On-Site optimization is the basic thing and I really do it before going for any further activity. And then I go for backlinks and use almost all the ways for it.

Basically, SEO is divided into two major parts. The first is the On-Page Optimization and the other one is the Off-Page Optimization...

On-page optimization includes proper usage and placement of your keywords and codes inside your website/web pages.

While Off-page optimization includes the following techniques:
* article submission
* forum posting (through signature)
* web directory submission
* blog directory submission
* participating in community sites like Yahoo Answers
* press release submission
* online group posting
* promotional ads
* link exchange
* social bookmarkings

Both of them plays very important role as far as SEO in concern...

I am already fallowed the steps, What and all the procedure mention on this thread , even though I am not getting my expected traffic (directory, social bookmark, article submission, blogs comments etc.) since 15 days I am waiting for traffic update but still I am getting arround 10-20 visitors per day, please suggest for high traffic.
