This may be probably because google still haven't indexed the pages where your link exists and that is why they are not shown in google.

Yahoo links is accurate for check links. That's rule in SEO

Yahoo and Google have different algorithms. Yahoo reads nofollow links, while Google doesn't. If your ranking is doing good, don't get too concerned about your BLs.

You should not compare the algorithm of the two search engines because they are different. They have their own rules when it comes to backlinks. Yahoo credits both nofollow and dofollow links while google focused on dofollow links only. Yahoo indexed links as soon as you've got it but in google it will takes time.

Maybe you don't really have a backlinks on Google yet, you can check that out on Google Webmaster Tools anyway.

Yahoo is much better for checking backlinks as it shows all backlinks of your site that google doesn't show.

i think, some of your pages or the links that you've put are haven't or doesn't crawl by google spiders..... i think building some quality links can help you...

Yes, Me too have the same kind of question, Later on I realized that even those pages are indexed, the backlinks will not be shown in Google but yahoo will show it. However, there will be an effect on google search due to this, when you search for the keyword on Google..... so, that is still useful, evenif that is not shown for "link:http://www....."

Yhoo indexing the links quickly and google taking time... Better use any third party tool like backlinkwatch to get the correct list

Search engines have different algorithms.. Google might not indexed your site right now.. Try to wait and see the results..

The tool that you are using fetch those backlinks showed as you make an inquiries using "link:site" command.

maybe it is because their difference in algorithm. and yes, I experienced this thing too. At yahoo you can get a lot of backlink maybe hundreds or thousands while at google it might be only 8, 10, etc. this kind of thing is ussual.

yahoo shows all the links. As per my knowledge yahoo is not considering nofollow attributes while Google is considers nofollow attributes.
